We are happy to accept most forms of payment so please contact us if you have any questions. We currently do not accept credit cards.
You may qualify for a Nursery Grant or to be able to pay using Childcare Vouchers. Please read on for more information on these schemes or contact the Nursery Manager for more details.
Childcare Vouchers
Steps Ahead is happy to accept most forms of Childcare vouchers (CCV). CCVs are non-taxable and exempt from National Insurance contributions for employees. CCVs also offer savings for employers. This is a government work-life balance scheme, supported by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).
CCVs have become a recognised payment method for child care in the UK. All eligible working parents, with children aged under 16 are able to benefit from CCVs, provided their employer offers the Childcare Voucher scheme. The vouchers currently benefit both basic and higher rate tax-payers.
Steps Ahead accepts paper vouchers, direct payments from employer or electronic payments via the childcare voucher company. We currently have a system in place where you notify the office of your voucher payments by filling in a payment slip and this ensures the appropriate amount is deducted off your invoice as soon as possible.
We currently accept payments from Busy Bees (computershare), Accor, Fideliti, Mouchel Parkman, Imagine, Sodexo, Care-4, Fair Care and Allsave.
We consider all new schemes if they are well managed and payment is prompt. We do withhold the right to stop accepting vouchers if the payments are not satisfactory.
