Free Entitlement

Steps Ahead is eligible to access this funding from the local authority and we adhere to the guidelines from Wiltshire Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership.

30 hours Extended Entitlement is available for those children whose parents are eligible under the government guidelines, alongside
15 hours Universal Entitlement for all children the term after their third birthday.
15 Hours Working Parent Entitlement;
For an eligible child to receive funding in Autumn 2024, they must have had their 9-month birthday on or before 31 August 2024.

We also accept Disadvantaged 2 Year Old children with an eligible code from the Local Authority.
The Free Entitlement sessions are subject to availability and we would need to discuss your requirements in detail. Not all sessions are available with funding.
